She's finally finished.

Belle, from Beauty and the Beast, #1 in a list of 8 that I have to do.

Photoshop cs2, half-dead intuos2 tablet, too many hours.

EDIT #2: AN EXPLANATION AS TO WHAT MY PROJECT IS ABOUT:

I have had a few people mention that they are not quite comfortable with the idea of what my project with belle so far stands for. There seems to be a rather mixed feelings about it, because Belle so far doesn't hold that "innocent" look that Disney portrayed her in.

The main goal of this mini project for me is to bring something that *I* love not only to a mature level, but to a more human level. It's something that I loved in my childhood, but that really doesn't seem to apply as well in my adulthood. So I'm bringing it down from the fairy tale lived happily ever after level to a more mortal level.

I'm working on them in my style, not necessarily the guidelines of Disney.

Again, thank you guys for all the comments, and hope this clears it up for the princesses yet to come to my gallery.
